Find The Aggressive Poker Strategy Guide

The most common winners of poker games across poker tournaments are those who play an aggressive game. Whether it is in an online game or in an offline poker room, aggressive players are the ones you will notice first - and are the ones who are most likely taking all the winnings. An aggressive poker player will only very rarely limp into a pot, but would rather go one to raise or even re-raise as the situation asks for it.

So, how does that happen? And how do you move from being a passive player to an aggressive player? If you are a regular to play poker in India, there are some points you should keep in mind on how to become and stay aggressive in your poker game, and keep winning.

1. Use aggression to instill doubt: With the right kind of gameplay, and showing the right form of aggression you can put some reasonable doubt in the minds of your opponents. If  your aggression can make them believe that you’re making the move with a A-K set of cards, it is more likely that you’ll make a lot of money, in comparison to them rightly knowing that you’ll only make a right bet.

2. Build a poker image: While playing an online poker game like freeroll poker tournaments, building a strong poker image as an aggressive player is key to having a winning poker strategy in the long-term. There are two different ways to create an image of an aggressive player - one, the organic way where you proactively develop an image through your playing style. The second way is more reactive where you allow your cards to create an image for you and then make any adjustments needed to take advantage of the image built.

3. Identify if your opponent shows weakness: While playing a game of play poker in India, look out for actions that are a clear tell that your opponent has a weakness. Watch out for the signs - checking quickly after the flop, preflop limping, check-calling etc. are sure-shot signs of passive play. In these situations in freeroll poker tournaments, playing an aggressive response is often a good response. The weakness here doesn’t really refer to the actual player, but to their hand in the game. But, the signs tell that the hand is weak.

It is generally known that aggressive players, who choose to bet or raise often when given the chance to do so — don't have to depend on good hands to win pots. Instead, they’re also capable of winning with lesser hands when they push other players with better bets to fold.

Also, it is well known that most winners are aggressive players. So, if you’re looking at adopting a winning strategy, you should look at building an aggressive image as well as an aggressive game.
